We cross to the mainland with the local ferry and head towards Meteora for a guided historical and mythical tour of some of the most spectacular monasteries of the Orthodox faith, built on top of pure lime stone pillars. During our tour, we also visit the traditional and famous high mountain village of Metsovo, for lunch and coffee at one of the most popular local taverna, serving authentic dishes of the Epirus region.
